Philosophy Statement:
People should live their life to the fullest without skipping out of anything that life has to offer. Make the most of what you have experienced and remember those times. For when you are old you may regret not doing something that could have been notable; because you never know what could happen next.

Leave a legacy, do not worry about being perfect, but try to make yourself a better person.

…I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately,
and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear;

I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life
to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life…

But it won’t last forever
seize the time,
cause its now or never baby.
So live your life,

You are young and life is long
And there is time to kill today
and then one day you find
Ten years have got behind you

I wish I hadn't said that, he thought.
I regret.
But it’s too late.
I am not the right person.
Not at all. Not for this.

I would not, if I could,
embody a record of my later years
of unspeakable misery,
and unpardonable crime.
Death approaches;
and the shadow which foreruns him
has thrown a softening influence over my spirit.

He's waiting to die as he sits all alone
He's a man in a cell who regrets what he's done

He utters a cry from the depths of his soul
"Oh Lord, forgive me, I want to go home"

And when he had lived long,
and was borne to his grave a hoary corpse.....
they carved no hopeful verse upon his tombstone,
for his dying hour was gloom.

yet the dead are there:
the dead reign there alone.
So shalt thou rest: and what if thou withdraw
In silence from the living, and no friend
Take note of thy departure?

It seemed to me that I had several more lives to live,

and could not spare any more time for that one.

I enter'd upon the execution of this plan
for self-examination,

and was surpris'd to find myself so much fuller of faults
than I had imagined;
but I had the satisfaction of seeing them diminish.

I found myself incorrigible with respect to Order;
and now I am grown old, and my memory bad,
But, on the whole, tho' I never arrived at the perfection I had been so ambitious of obtaining,
but fell far short of it,

yet I was, by the endeavour,

a better and a happier man
than I otherwise should have been if I had not attempted it.
